Goshale

At Dwaraka Prathistana, we are deeply committed to social responsibility and the well-being of our community. As part of our efforts, we have established the Surabhi Goshale, a dedicated cow shelter aimed at promoting sustainable agricultural practices and preserving native cattle breeds. Located in the serene village of Derla, Keyyur, Puttur, Surabhi Goshale is a sanctuary for the Malenadu Gidda breed of cattle. Our goshale spans 6000 square feet and is home to 25 well-cared-for cows.
Our Initiatives
Preservation of Native Breeds:
We are dedicated to the conservation of the Malenadu Gidda, a native cattle breed known for its resilience and adaptability to local conditions.
Organic Fertilizer Production:
Utilizing cow dung and urine, we produce high-quality organic fertilizers such as slurry and Dhenusara, which are essential for sustainable farming practices.
